BRACHA Y. STATMAN

An associate at Levy Phillips & Konigsberg, LLP Bracha Y. Statman focuses on asbestos litigation. She is admitted to practice law in New Jersey state and federal courts, and New York state courts.

Prior to joining LPK, Bracha was a fellow at the New York Environmental Law & Justice Project. While there, she worked on cases involving environmental hazards and analyzed environmental legislation from all levels of government.

Bracha graduated cum laude from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 2005, and was inducted into the Order of the Coif. As a second year law student, she interned for the Honorable Sonia Sotomayor of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. In addition, Bracha holds an M.A. in Psychology from Queens College, and a B.A. in Psychology from Stern College of Yeshiva University, from which she graduated with summa cum laude distinction.
