G. RUSSELL RAGLAND
An associate at Levy Phillips & Konigsberg, LLP, Russell Ragland’s principal practice area is mass tort litigation. Since joining LPK, Russell has worked primarily in the area of asbestos litigation. He is admitted to practice law in the state courts of New York and Texas as well as in the Southern and Eastern District federal courts of New York.
Prior to joining LPK, Russell represented asbestos workers throughout the United States while working for major mass tort firms in Dallas and Houston, Texas, and New York City. He developed every aspect of a powerhouse worker’s toxic tort suit, resulting in a $47 million verdict against two public utilities in New York County in 2003. In addition to his work in the mass tort field, Russell has represented plaintiffs in personal injury and products liability cases throughout New York City. He has tried cases in all boroughs of New York City, and received a number of substantial verdicts, including a $2.75 million verdict in a labor law case in Kings County, New York in 2006.
Russell was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Richmond in Virginia in 1990 and his law degree from the SMU School of Law in Dallas, Texas in 1993. |
