Leah Kagan
Associate
An associate at Levy Phillips & Konigsberg, LLP, Leah Kagan focuses her practice on asbestos/mesothelioma litigation, product liability and mass torts. Prior to joining LPK, Leah represented clients in cases involving business torts and product liability. Leah has also worked in the public interest sector with The Women's Law Project as well as The Legal Aid Society - Special Litigation Division representing indigent individuals.
Leah is admitted to practice law in New York, New Jersey, and in the United States District Court in New Jersey. She serves on the Executive Board Committee for the New York Lawyer Chapter of the American Constitution Society for Law and Policy and is a member of the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, and the National Association for Women Lawyers. She serves as a coach for the Bronx High School for Law, Government and Justice's Mock Trial Team. She is also fluent in Russian.
Leah received her law degree from Rutgers School of Law, Camden in 2009, where she led the mock trial team to the national championship rounds and was awarded the ALI/ABA Scholarship and Leadership Award upon graduation. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in History, with a minor in English, from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 2006.
