An associate at Levy, Phillips & Konigsberg LLP, Roxanne DeFrancesco specializes in complex litigation with an emphasis on product liability, toxic tort, and birth defect cases. Prior to joining LPK, Roxanne represented scores of women who suffered from cancers and/or infertility resulting from their in utero exposure to Diethylstilbestrol (DES), a defective drug that had been negligently marketed and sold as an anti-miscarriage drug. Before engaging in private practice and advocating on behalf of tragically injured individuals, Roxanne served in the public sector as Law Clerk to the Honorable Ross R. Anzaldi, former Presiding Judge of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Civil Division, Judicial Intern to the Honorable Alfred J. Lechner, Jr., United States District Court Judge for the District of New Jersey, and as a News Analyst in the White House during the Clinton Administration.
Roxanne is licensed to practice law in New York and New Jersey. She is also licensed to appear before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. She is a member of several bar associations including the American Association for Justice.
Roxanne graduated from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 2002 with a concentration in litigation. While there, she was Articles Editor of the Cardozo Journal of International and Comparative Law, worked as an appellate advocate in the Cardozo Criminal Appeals Clinic, and completed a fellowship in the Employment Litigation Department of J.P. Morgan Chase & Co.'s Office of General Counsel. In 1999, she earned her undergraduate degree cum laude from The George Washington University.
