LPK attorneys Robert Komitor and Moshe Maimon represented four individuals suffering with mesothelioma in a consolidated trial in New York Federal Court, Southern District.

The jury verdict, $47.15 million, was reported in The National Law Journal as the largest asbestos verdict, nationwide, in 1993.
City of Baltimore v. U.S. Gypsum et al.

LPK attorney Stanley J. Levy obtained a compensatory and punitive verdict totalling $23,000,000 on behalf of the City of Baltimore for recovery of its asbestos abatement costs against suppliers of asbestos-containing spray materials; tried in Maryland State Court, Baltimore County, 1992.

Mayer, Pride

In a consolidated trial in New York State Supreme Court, LPK attorney Jerome H. Block represented an individual suffering from mesothelioma and an individual who died from mesothelioma.

The verdicts, which totaled $22 million, were reported in The National Law Journal as the largest award of compensatory damages, nationwide, for an asbestos trial in 2004.
Matteson & Lustenring

LPK attorneys Robert Komitor and Jerome Block represented an individual suffering from mesothelioma and an individual who died from mesothelioma in a consolidated trial in New York State Supreme Court.

The verdict in the case, handed down by a NY County jury, was for $19.5 million.
New York Brooklyn Navy Yard Consolidated Asbestos Litigation (Federal Court)

In a consolidated trial on behalf of Brooklyn Navy Yard workers, LPK attorneys Steven J. Phillips, Moshe Maimon, Diane Paolicelli, and Robert I. Komitor represented 32 plaintiffs who had developed a variety of asbestos-related diseases including lung cancer, asbestosis, colon cancer, and mesothelioma. The trial was held in the Federal Court, Eastern District of New York.

The verdicts totalled over $18.5 million.
Gantcher, White, Venturno, Dollas, Mangialomini

LPK represented five individuals, who died from mesothelioma, whose cases were tried in New York State Supreme Court.

The total jury verdict, $18.2 million, was reported in The National Law Journal as the largest asbestos verdict, nationwide, in 1996.
Ayers v. Township of Jackson

Attorney Steven J. Phillips obtained a verdict of $17,600,000 on behalf of families chemically exposed to volatile organic chemicals in their drinking water.

New York Consolidated Powerhouse Litigation (Federal Court)

LPK attorneys Steven J. Phillips, Robert I. Komitor, and Moshe Maimon represented five powerhouse workers in a consolidated trial held in the Federal Court, Eastern District of New York. Two of plaintiffs suffered from mesothelioma, one from lung cancer, and two from asbestosis.

The total verdict, $14.3 million, was included as part of the largest verdict of 1991 as reported by The National Law Journal.
