Three individuals suffering with mesothelioma whose cases were tried by Moshe Maimon in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.

Total jury verdict $14.25 million.

LPK attorney Moshe Maimon represented an individual suffering from mesothelioma whose case was tried in New Jersey Superior Court, Middlesex County.

The verdict in the amount of $10 million, is the largest verdict on record for a mesothelioma case tried in New Jersey.
New York Consolidated Powerhouse Litigation (State Court)

LPK attorney Robert I. Komitor represented three powerhouse workers--two suffering from lung cancer and one suffering with asbestosis and colon cancer.

Tried as part of a consolidated trial held in New York State Supreme Court, the total verdicts amounted to $9.39 million and were included among the highest asbestos jury verdicts in 1992 as reported in The National Law Journal.
Total settlement of $8,000,000

in a premises liability case brought in New York Federal District Court, Southern District on behalf of a plaintiff who was shot in the head by an assailant while walking down the vestibule entrance to a subway train. The plaintiff fell unto a vegetative state from the injury.

Higgins, Johnson

In 1990, LPK attorney Steven J. Phillips represented two shipyard workers exposed to asbestos while working at the Brooklyn Naval shipyard; one plaintiff developed asbestosis and one developed asbestos-related pleural disease. The case was tried in the Federal District Court, Eastern District.

The total verdicts were for $7,150,000.
Peguero Verdict

LPK Attorneys Alan J. Konigsberg and Daniel J. Woodard obtained a verdict totaling $6,900,000.00 on behalf of two brothers, ages 11 and 9, who were lead poisoned. For over 6 years, while residing in a Manhattan apartment building, the 11-year-old boy was exposed to peeling and chipping lead based paint and lead paint dust. The 9-year-old boy was exposed to the hazardous lead paint condition for over 4 years while residing in the same Manhattan apartment. The jury concluded that the owner of the apartment building was negligent in failing to maintain the apartment in accordance with the Laws of the State and that the infants’ lead poisoning was a substantial factor in causing their cognitive, intellectual and behavioral deficits. As a result of the lead poisoning, the infant plaintiffs' failed the first grade and continue to perform poorly academically. They also suffer from ADHD and other learning disabilities. The case was tried in New York State Court, New York County.

Tucker, Gomez

LPK attorneys Jerome H. Block and Robert I. Komitor represented an
individual who died from mesothelioma and an individual suffering from lung cancer in a consolidated trial in New York State Supreme Court against manufacturers of asbestos-containing welding rods.

The New York County jury awarded a total verdict of 6.6 million. This was the first ever jury verdict against the welding industry in an asbestos lawsuit.
Bamira v. Greenburg

LPK attorney Moshe Maimon obtained compensatory and punitive damages in a breach of contract/breach of fiduciary duties case involving partners in an investment banking/brokerage venture. This case was tried in New York State Court, in 2002.

New York Brooklyn Navy Yard Consolidated Asbestos Litigation (State Court)

LPK attorneys Robert I. Komitor and Diane Paolicelli represented three plaintiffs in a consolidated trial on behalf of Brooklyn Navy Yard workers in the New York State Supreme Court. Two plaintiffs suffered from mesothelioma and one from asbestosis.

Verdicts totalled over $5.5 million.
Geressy v. Digital Equipment Corporation

LPK attorney Steven J. Phillips obtained a verdict of $5,400,000 on behalf of a Port Authority secretary who suffered reflex sympathetic dystrophy and carpal tunnel syndrome as a consequence of intense keyboard work at a defective computer workstation.
