The jury verdict, $47.15 million, was reported in The National Law Journal as the largest asbestos verdict, nationwide, in 1993.

In a consolidated trial in New York State Supreme Court, LPK attorney Jerome H. Block represented an individual suffering from mesothelioma and an individual who died from mesothelioma.

The verdicts, which totaled $22 million, were reported in The National Law Journal as the largest award of compensatory damages, nationwide, for an asbestos trial in 2004.

individual who died from mesothelioma and an individual suffering from lung cancer in a consolidated trial in New York State Supreme Court against manufacturers of asbestos-containing welding rods.

The New York County jury awarded a total verdict of 6.6 million. This was the first ever jury verdict against the welding industry in an asbestos lawsuit.
