Komitor represented 32 plaintiffs who had developed a variety of asbestos-related diseases including lung cancer, asbestosis, colon cancer, and mesothelioma. The trial was held in the Federal Court, Eastern District of New York. The verdicts totalled over $18.5 million.

Komitor, and Moshe Maimon represented five powerhouse workers in a consolidated trial held in the Federal Court, Eastern District of New York. Two of plaintiffs suffered from mesothelioma, one from lung cancer, and two from asbestosis. The total verdict, $14.3 million, was included as part of the largest verdict of 1991 as reported by The National Law Journal.
