Sharon is licensed to practice law in New York, New Jersey, California, Georgia, Florida, and Washington D.C. She is also licensed to appear before the United State District Courts for the Central District of California, the Southern District of New York, and the Eastern District of New York.

Sharon graduated with high honors from Emory University in 2002 earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a minor in Violence Studies. While in college, Sharon interned for the Dekalb County Juvenile Court and the American Civil Liberties Union.

Sharon attended law school at Emory University School of Law, where she was a Robert W. Woodruff Scholar and a member of the Emory International Law Review.
